System Requirements for viewing Movies and using Tutorial projects
Our training movies (and eventually our online podcasts as well) are best viewed if your computer has the proper components installed, and if your Internet connection is fast. Our online and downloadable tutorial projects for DVD Studio Pro and Adobe Encore CS3 for Mac ONLY run on the Macintosh, so if you have a PC, don't try to use these. Likewise, our downloadable projects for Scenarist, Adobe Encore DVD for Windows and
other PC-based authoring apps ONLY run on the PC, so Mac people should stick with
DVD Studio Pro stuff
Check this list to be sure you meet the optimum setup:
Macintosh
- 250Mhz or better Power PC
- 32MB Ram
- 1024x768 screen resolution (or better)
- Mac OS 8.6 or better
- Broadband Internet connection (ISDN/DSL/CABLE)
- Flash 8 Player/plugin
- QuickTime:
- One of the following browsers:
- Safari 1.0 or better (part of the Mac OS system with 10.0 or higher)
- Firefox 1.0 or better
- Internet Explorer IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THIS SITE
Windows
