1 - Verify Your  Internet Connection

Making the connection requires simultaneous online access between my computer and yours.
Check and make sure your connection is working fine before we try to connect.

2 - Download the Teamviewer Software

If you have not already installed the free Teamviewer QS Mac client, download it from here:
http://www.teamviewer.com/download/

Once you have downloaded this free software, double-click the DMG,
then drag the application icon to your Applications folder or desktop,

3- Just before your appointment time, launch the Teamviewer Software

Double-click the Teamviewer Application Icon to launch the program.

 
Teamviewer will generate an ID and PASSWORD automatically.

Keep these two numbers handy, because they identify YOUR specific computer.

4- At your appointment time, we will contact you to begin the connection session/  

When you are ready for us to connect to your computer, be sure Teamviewer is launched,
and provide us with the Teamviewer ID and current password information; we can then connect to your computer.
You will need to provide us with these numbers in order to allow a connection to be made to your computer.
This connection is COMPLETELY SECURE, and YOU control it. At any time while you are connected,
you can break the active connection by clicking the "X" in the Teamviewer Connection Panel.

5- If you'd like to do a concurrent voice call, we'd be happy to call you! 

If you wish to have a simultaneous voice phone call, please have your phone close by,
and send us your telephone number so we can initiate a call. 
At the appointed time, we will call you, or Skype you, if you have sent us a Skype ID to use instead.

6 - enjoy!

While the connection is active, we can move the mouse around, just as if we were working right next to you.
You can watch all of our actions on your computer at all times, and can take control of the cursor whenever you wish.
We can SHOW you , in real time, the exact steps required to perform any function in any application, or the Mac finder.

7 - When you'refinished, you can easily, securely, disconnect. 

When the session is finished, click the "X" in the Teamviewer Control Panel, and the connection is broken.
Your computer is SECURE at all times, since we CANNOT make a connection to your computer unless Teamviewer
is launched and active. In addition, each session generates a unique NEW password, and a new connection
cannot be made without having both your ID AND the current unique password.

In other words, your security is assured since we have no way of knowing your password once you log off the current session.
