Use Photoshop Actions for lightning-fast graphics manipulation for DVD menus, slideshows, etc.. When the time comes and you are faced with the daunting task of processing a ton of photos or images for DVD slideshows, I certainly hope you have become famliar with the wonders of Adobe Photoshop actions.
Basically, actions are macros for Photoshop - a programmable script of Photoshop events that can be applied one-at-a-time to single images, or can be used to process folders full of graphics in an unattended manner, at lightning speed. For example, we use actions here to prepare odd-sized graphics to the proper 740 x 480 size for DVD use; we also use them to perform image watermarking and even create picture frames for images that go into slideshows! I 've posted two very popular image resizing actions in the Free Downloads area (it's the DOCs menu item, the folder is called TUTORIALS/PROJECTS - FREE), so you can get a start using Actions. I'm sure you will find it incredibly easy to record many of you own to assist. As I find others that are of use, I'll post them in the same DOCs area.
