Can I make my own copy of a non-copyrighted DVD?

Assuming the disc is a DVD-5, and it is NOT copy protected,
you can use Roxio TOAST Titanium on any Macintosh
equipped with a Superdrive to COPY the disc to a new
DVD-R disc once you have copied it to the internal hard drive.

If you have an internal DVD drive, and an EXTERNAL
DVD-R burner, you can copy from the Internal DVD
drive to the External, using Toast - be sure to check the
SPEED (Cmd-T) before you start burning, because
if the read speed cannot be sustained, your disc will
have a buffer underrun error, and will be a coaster!
