Tired of monkeying around with A.Pack to get a good sounding file? Here are a few tips to make it easy:

1 - Start with a 48KHz sound file -
44.1 KHz does NOT work with DVD!

2 - Set these settings for the simplest encode:

Format: DVD Video (always)
Mode: 2/0 (this means Stereo in "Dolby-speak"
Encode Rate: 192 kbps to 256 kbps NOT 448kbps!
Dialog Normalization: set it to -31

3 - In Preprocessing Tab:

Turn off Compression of any kind
Turn off RF Overmod

These quick settings should get you going!
