Encoding Limitations for MultiAngle Use

According to my reference sources, the max multiangle encode rate must be decreased as you increase the number of angles desired...

Max Angles Max Bitrate (for EACH encoded angle)
2-5 7.8 Mbps
6-8 7.3 Mbps
9 (max) 6.8 Mbps

If you then add audio and subpic back onto that maximum (let's say 6.8), you have a good healthy margin for several audio tracks @ .192 or .384 as well as many subpix tracks.. Wouldn't want to do this with PCM audio, though (or even DTS!)

Also note that for Multiangle to work properly, each angle should be encoded with the same characteristics (GOP Length, etc.). If you encode everything using the SAME encoder and SAME settings, you should be OK. Remember that If you are doing mains and ends titles angle blocking, you will need to re-encode the main movie beginning 2.5 seconds before
the reappearance of a multiangle block (usually the end credits)
