The DVD Companion Pro-Pack 1 is a hit, as worldwide sales to DVD enthusiasts attest!
If you are already an owner, thanks very much for your support and your purchase.We have received a few emails regarding some difficulty in getting the projects to load properly. Upon further investigation, we have found that some of the projects are looking for the DVD assets elsewhere than on the CD we sent you! To eliminate this, we have REVAMPED the Pro-Pack 1 projects in their entirety, and they are available for you to INSTANTLY DOWNLOAD...
HERE'S WHAT HAS BEEN CHANGED in the new projects:
These are the SAME projects as were originally shipped, so the same instructions apply for their use, but one important aspect has changed: when you launch these new projects, they will be looking for the assets from the original Pro-Pack 1 CD that you were shipped. The original projects were looking for the assets on a different hard drive, and probably would come up with MISSING ASSETS (unless you happened to name your drive Gnome PBG3!)
If you have copied the Pro-Pack 1 projects to your locaL hard drive since you have received it, you may have already changed the asset pointers to look for the Pro-Pack DVD assets from your local hard drive. You can do this by selecting "Assets Files" from the ITEM MENU, clicking on a file, and telling it to LOCATE the asset file you have selected by nav igating to that file. If you navigate to the file on your hard drive copy of the Pro Pack, then every time you open the sequence, it will find all of the assets, and nothing will show up missing!If you are using the Pro-Pack CD as the source of your template, use the NEW sequences included in the update package. All Pro-Pack 1's now ship with the projects in this form, to guarantee that you can use the CD imediately upon receipt!TO DOWNLOAD:Please have your Pro-Pack serial number handy, as you will need the code on the serial number in order to download the Stuffed project files. Please note that both the USERNAME and the PASSWORD are CaSe SeNsItIvE!When you are prompted, please enter the USERNAME "PP1".For the PASSWORD, enter the FIRST 8 CHARACTERS in your PP SERIAL NUMBER -
Do NOT enter anything after the second dash, including the second dash! Once you enter the username and password, the download will automatically begin to transfer the stuffed .SIT file. You will need Stuffit Expander (a free utility) to expand the projects back into usable form. IF you don't already have STUFFIT EXPANDER, get it here.
